My First Canvas

This is my first canvas!

I chose to get it done at Sam's Club. Sam's did an awesome job! They folded the corners very nicely, the finished had a nice shine to it, but not to much...which is a good thing in my opinion! The canvas didn't take them very long at all. Sooner than I expected actually! :-) Sam's has very good prices...so if you're going to buy a lot of wraps, check out Sam's! No pun intended!:-)

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Romans 1:20
I was going through some old pictures from last winter and found this one that I liked,
                                                 hope you do to!

                                              Thanks for following!

Space Exhibit

These are pictures of the Space Exhibit at the AIR ZOO museum.

OUR GALAXY
The Milky Way is just one of the billions of galaxies in the Universe. It is a vast collection of more than 200 billion stars. Our Sun is located about two-thirds the way out from the core. The stars visible in our sky would
occupy an area about the size of a quarter in this picture. On a clear, dark night we can see a band of light that
stretches across the sky. This band of light is a neighboring spiral arm. The ancient Greeks compared it to spilt
milk. The word "galaxy" is derived from the Greek word "gala" which means milk, thus the name, the Milky Way
galaxy.
